Israel's outrageous crimes against the Palestinians and the lies, distortions and highly selective media coverage concealing these from public view have relied upon a long, systematic campaign dehumanizating Arab peoples and the Muslim religion by a press and entertainment industry heavily controlled by Zionist interests in the United States as well as, to a lesser extent, the UK and EU.

Several virulent manifestations of this strategy are well established and continue to arise, protected from anti-racism and "anti-hate" movement opposition by well-placed Jewish and Christian Zionists within these movements who cloud the issue, confuse the public, and eviscerate efforts at legal, moral and historical clarity and effective counter-actions.

To address this problem, we are providing weekly one-hour interview programs on local community television in a series titled "Islam and Islamophobia 101."  We will post these on YouTube to extend our reach to a wider audience.

Here's the first broadcast, interviewing Jewish writer Richard Forer, author of Breakthrough, Transforming Fear Into Compassion: A New Perspective on the Israel-Palestine Conflict.  Richard tells his personal story of transformation from a blindly loyal Zionist to a Palestinian human rights activist.  His story can help pro-Israeli Jews and others to recognize an alternative path toward greater knowledge and humanity and help those already on that path to understand the stubborn resistance in much of the collective Jewish psyche to accepting truth and moving beyond Zionism to humanism.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmGDVb1EkTA (4 parts)
